1. Purpose
Strengthen the management of raw materials , prevent unqualified materials or
incomplete procedures materials to be put into the production chain.
2. scope of application
Applicable to all materials used in the enterprise product , purchase , get and use , cutting ,etc .
3. obligation
3.1 Material department is responsible for purchasing of the materials
3.2 Every workshop is responsible for checking , contrasting and colour separation , material quality , furnace batch Seal of the materials .
3.3 QC department is responsible for verification of materials and supervision requisitioned materils from the store, cutting process .
4. Control program
4.1 Materials purchasing
4.1.1 Material Department choose the appropriate qualifications and ability supplier based on shopping list provided by the Technology Department.
4.1.2 Procurement personnel must contrast name of materials, specifications and models, material grade, furnace batch seal, quality certificates and stamps to ensure that the purchased materials are all qualified materials;
4.1.3 In principle, effective materials certificates must be in the shipyard with the materials at the same time , for some reason temporarily unable to be received, must provide a list of certificate numbers , ready to be checked .
4.1.4 Warehouse staff carefully check the above-mentioned items when it be put in storage；
4.1.5 QC department selective inspect the above procedures .
4.2 Use of Material
4.2.1 Workshops require for materials according to the drawings and check the name, specifications and models, material grade, furnace batch Seal, color separation, etc. is correct or not；
4.2.2 If any item is found not correct , the material will not be able to use, provide feedback to QC department and Material department .
4.2.3 If material substitution is needed, prohibited to use low as high and high as low, must be reported to QC departmentand in advance and accepted by the owner and class surveyor .
4.3 Material cutting
4.3.1 Cutting staff check incoming materials by the drawing firstly, check specifications and models, material grade, color separation, etc. is correct or not, whether there is furnace batch seal;
4.3.2 If it is high-strength steel, should transfer steel seal of each element with surveyor’s requirment .
4.3.3 All cut elements must be marked vessel number, block number, part number, classification societies, material grades, etc.
4.3.4 Cutting drawing must be recorded furnace batch seal , material specifications, grade, cutting date detailed information to be easy traced.
4.3.5 QC department selective inspect and supervise above works .
