Taiwan’s Chung Hung Steel to lower prices for May2017-05-02

Chung Hung Steel, one of the major carbon steel flat re-rollers and also the major welded pipe makers in Taiwan, has announced to lower its May base prices. The company is cutting its HRC and CRC base prices by NT$400/ton and NT$500/ton; the price will be cut by NT$1,000/ton for galvanized steel products. The company said the demand remains slow in the market. In terms of export market, the company will cut export prices by about US$45/ton, depending on different customers and regions.
